Chef Appears On Kitchen Cam At Celtic Manor Resort

The private dining room at The Crown, a fine-dining restaurant recently opened at the Celtic Manor Resort, Usk Valley, Wales (in partnership with The Crown at Whitebrook), features Michelin-starred Executive Chef James Sommerin on a plasma screen television.

Guests at the restaurant’s chef’s table, which seats 10, can watch and listen as the chef prepares their meals live, giving them firsthand insight into the world of gourmet cuisine.

In addition to the chef’s table, the restaurant offers a modern, elegant main dining room with an intimate atmosphere and accompanying outdoor space.

The Crown’s menu reflects seasonality with a strong emphasis on locally sourced ingredients, and includes items such as pan-friend wild sea bass and butter-glazed beef rib.

The restaurant also offers an express one-hour lunch menu for time-stretched business diners, and a six-course tasting menu for evening diners.
